Jake had fun tattooing two designs based on famous paintings this week. Francisco Goya’s ‘Saturn Devouring His Son’ and a design influenced by George Condo. Two favourites of Rosie who is now lucky to wear Jake’s interpretations of these two classic artists.

A severed head or Namakubi symbolizes courage, strength, dignity, facing mortality with honour, and the impermanence of life, and it can be a frightening warning to onlookers. Excellent subject matter for a traditional Japanese tattoo.
